Christmas Gift Ideas For Fitness Lovers
I don’t know about you, but I often struggle to come up with Christmas gift ideas for people (unless they are fitness lovers!). So I have compiled a list of gift ideas accounting for varying budgets. Any questions regarding recommendations then message me.
Stocking Fillers
Foam Roller/Massage Ball-the perfect recovery tool.
You can buy these from various places and you can even get some that vibrate. Prices vary. For a stocking filler, go to Decathlon and try out their foam rollers (eg this one). Wanna pay more for a vibrating one? Therabody sell these here. Want a bundle that includes foam roller and massage ball then click here.
Liquid Chalk- great for grip for weightlifters & Hyroxers!
Do you know someone who lifts heavy? Or perhaps a Hyrox athlete who wants to train with chalk (for farmer carries and sled pulls)….why not treat them to chalk to help with grip. You can get powder chalk or liquid. I recommend liquid as it is less messy. Personally, I use this one. However, I know people who highly rate other brands such as MyProtein.
Hysoxs- the best grip socks in hybrid fitness!
Do you know someone who competes in Hyrox/ DEKA/ Deadly Dozen or other hybrid fitness races? I often race in Hysoxs. They provide a good level of grip to stop your shoes from slipping around. Use code BURGON15 for 15% off at the checkout. See their range here.
Energy Gels- perfect fuel for Hyroxers/Runners
Do you know someone who competes in Hyrox/ Half Marathons/ Marathons/Ultras? Treat them to energy gels. These will help fuel their training and races to give them enough energy to perform at their best. There’s so many on the market. My clients and I tend to go for SIS gels + electrolytes or Beta Fuel. See here.
Resistance Bands- great for activation & strength
These are a great gift idea when used correctly. They can be used for warming up/activation and also isolated strength movements. You can get larger bands or mini bands and they vary in resistance. If the person you are buying for is strong then go for a heavy resistance!
Treat Them To A Little Bit Extra

True Physio 4 for 3 Christmas Gift Voucher (From £105)- Treat yourself/others to a massage!

You can give these to 4 different people. That’s four gifts sorted eh! View availability here. Book via therapies@true.physio or call 0161 972 0512.
Built For Athletes Backpack (Ranging from £71.99)- Comfort with carrying.
These backpacks carry a lot within them. They are perfect for people who need to store a lot of items to take to the gym eg multiple shoes/ chalk/weightlifting belt etc. Shop their range here.
Workout Clothes (Price varies)- Always feels good to wear new workout clothes.
Can’t go wrong with new gym gear! Consider sweat wicking, compression. Whether the individual prefers leggings/shorts/high socks/low socks. Just some ideas. Do some digging and find out their fav brand and treat them to new workout clothes.
Massage Gun (From £16.14 for a cheaper version or pay premium from £275)- Recover well!
Also good for recovery, but more expensive than the stocking fillers. The most well known brand is Therabody Theragun, but expect to pay premium prices (click here). You can get cheaper versions. These aren’t as comfortable to hold and are a bit bulkier, but are still good. I have this one for £16.14 on Amazon. I did buy it in 2022. Do your research/read reviews.
Weightlifting Belt- for the weightlifters
Great recommendation for recipients who love to weightlift. Weightlifting belts help keep the lifter stable and are particularly useful for heavy lifts. You can get clip in or velcro ones. Clip in tends to be more expensive. Most go by waist measurements, so if you can do some digging to find out the relevant info re sizing then do so. Good luck!
For Those With Expensive Taste & A High Budget To Match
Fitness Watch (Price Varies)- To track your data.
You can check out the features of a fitness watch to see what suits the recipient best. I personally wear the Garmin Forerunner 255S Music and I love it and highly rate it. I used to have an Apple Watch. My personal recommendation is to go for Garmin over Apple if the recipient is a keen runner (however, perhaps Apple has improved since I had one). I also used to have a Fitbit, but didn’t rate it when compared to Apple or Garmin. Consider your budget and look into features.
Weightlifting Shoes (Price varies)- to elevate weightlifting performance
Is your recipient a keen weightlifter? Perhaps, weightlifting shoes is a good gift idea. I personally wear Adidas Adipower 2. They are an old model, but I rate them highly. Here is the model. They have since released a new one. Nike Romaleos are also a popular choice amongst lifters.
Puma Deviate Nitro or Sauncony Endorphin 3 (Hyrox) (Price Varies from £150)- for your Hyrox performance!
Is your recipient a Hyroxer? Puma Deviate Nitro are super popular amongst Hyrox athletes and are reviewed well. I personally wear Saucony Endorphin Pro 3s (these are also a good fast 10k shoe for those keen on running). They no longer sell this model. Here is the new model, Saucony Endorphin Pro 4.
