Mind Over Muscle?

Are our PBs hit due to our mind or our muscle?

Believe it or not, both work in conjunction. If you train your mind to feel the muscle you are working then you are more likely to be targeting that muscle.

I loooooove doing box jumps, because I believe this movement is all about the mind. The moment you convince yourself you can’t make the jump, will be the moment you hit your shin and graze it on the box (trust me- I’ve done it).

The other day I got some new trainers and for a split second, I chickened out of doing a box jump and questioned if I can do it in my new trainers (weird, I know). In that split second, I also convinced myself I could do it and I was being stupid.

Tell yourself you can do it and you will do it!

Next time you go to the gym, try something new and train your mind to do it.

TRAINING ISN'T JUST ABOUT THE MUSCLE, IT IS ALSO ABOUT THE MIND!
